Contemplative Outreach: CONSD Vision & MissionWhen it comes to the strategy part of the strategic plan, the strategic management team has to be really careful. They need to make sure that the plan they set out is realistic and able to achieve what it claims to be able to achieve. It is to be based upon the vision, mission and values statements that the strategic management team has set out. The mission statement is the ultimate goal of the strategy and the vision statement is a glorious ideal that the company would like to reach at some point in the distant future. The values statement will influence the strategy in terms of the decisions and guidance that it will give to the management of the company. This is the nitty gritty detailed section of the strategic plan. All the rest is theoretical. This part is practical. The company will never realise its goals without a strategy to help it get there.
